I had the honor of working with Tangela during our hackathon project for Aimset, where she initially served as a UX designer. When personal circumstances required a shift in team roles, Tangela seamlessly stepped up as our design lead. She excelled in this role, demonstrating her ability to lead with confidence and skill. Tangela took on the responsibility of guiding the design team, overseeing all aspects of the design process, from initial concept development to final implementation.
As a design lead, Tangela exemplified servant leadership. She established direct and cross-functional communication, set clear tasks, and provided direction for the team. Her structured approach and ability to foster collaboration were key to our success. Tangela’s passion for accessible and inclusive design was evident in every aspect of her work, ensuring that our designs were not only aesthetically pleasing but also user-friendly for all.
Working alongside Tangela was a delight. Her unwavering commitment to accessible design and her structured methods inspired the entire team. Our collaboration was characterized by open communication, transparency, and exceptional organization. Tangela's dedication and leadership skills make her an invaluable asset to any team, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with her.
